Weekend Introductory to Massage

011210vsbm365The Weekend Introductory is recommended to any prospective students who are considering enrolment in the Spa Therapy Program. It is also suitable for anyone who wants to learn the basics of massage just for fun. You will learn: proper draping, how to develop a sense of pressure, general relaxation strokes, a complete body treatment routine and about appropriate use of oils.

Weekend Introductory to Reflexology

Saturday & Sunday, 10am to 5pm

Reflexology is an ancient healing art that involves stimulating the acupressure points of the feet that correspond to every body part, including organs and glands. This powerful, yet non-invasive practice improves circulation, relieves stress and leads to total relaxation. This course will guide you through an easy-to-learn foot reflexology routine.

Weekend Introductory to Shiatsu

Saturday & Sunday, 10am to 5pm

Shiatsu46Shiatsu is oriental acupressure, traditionally performed on a mat on the floor with the client fully clothed. You will learn how to develop a sense of pressure while working the points along the body’s meridians with your palms, thumbs and elbows. Shiatsu is extremely therapeutic, requires no special equipment and is fun to both give and receive.

Admissions

Cancellation Policy

Tuition is fully refundable until one week prior to the course at which point no refunds will be made. If a student is unable to attend for any reason, payment received will be kept on file as a credit and can be used for any other VSBM program or course within one year.
